Application of wavelet transform and FFT methods in the analysis of gear signals

- Abstract:In this paper, the gear vibration analysis was performed between common involute gear (CIG) and the double involute gear (DIG) in the same gear parameters and running condition. The FFT and wavelet methods have been introduced and applied to gear vibration analysis. The experiment results show a clear advantage of DIG with the help of Spectrum analysis.
