Synthesis and thermal stability of dimethyl adamantanes as high-density and high-thermal-stability fuels

Abstract:Sodium alginate (SA) hydrogel has been widely used in biomedical field due to its good biodegradability, low toxicity and other characteristics. However, solving the problem of sudden drug release and improving its biological activity remains a challenge. In this study, the composite particles (MXene/nHAp) of nano-hydroxyapatite and multi-layer MXene were firstly prepared and added in SA to fabrication SA/MXene/nHAp composite hydrogel. The MXene/nHAp show good photothermal antibacterial property. Compared with the single SA hydrogel, the SA/MXene/nHAp composite hydrogel shows excellent photothermal properties while maintaining good mechanical properties, and can effectively solve the problem of the initial drug burst release of the hydrogel. In addition, the composite hydrogel shows good antibacterial property under near infrared light irradiation. The addition of MXene/nHAp significantly improves the biocompatibility and osteogenic differentiation ability of the SA hydrogel. Overall, this study provides a novel strategy for the application of SA hydrogel in bone defect caused by bone tumor through designing MXene/nHAp contained SA composite hydrogel.
