Abstract:Single crystal Co(H<inf>2</inf>O)<inf>2</inf>Ni(CN)<inf>4</inf>¢4H<inf>2</inf>O has been successfully synthesized by a slow diffusion method using trisodium citrate dihydrate for controlling the nucleation rate and the crystal growth. The single crystal X-ray diffraction results show the obtained crystals with a two-dimensional orthorhombic unit cell, assembled from cationic Co ions and anionic [Ni(CN)<inf>4</inf>]²¹ units connected by bridging cyanide groups.<br/> © 2019 The Chemical Society of Japan
