La2O3-NCNTs hybrids in-situ derived from LaNi0.9Fe0.1O3-C composites as novel robust bifunctional oxygen electrocatalysts

Abstract:In order to develop low energy consumption and high efficiency stirrer, authors have designed a new type of cylinder stirrer for low viscosity medium. In this article, CFD investigation of the flow field, power consumption and mixing time in lab-scale vessels by large height diameter ratio cylinder stirrer are performed. Three-dimensional time-dependent flow and mixing prediction have been carried out using MRF (Multi Reference Frames) method embodied CFD (Computational Fluid Mechanics) package FLUENT6.2, and mixing time studies were done using a simulated tracer injection experiment. The CFD results show the performance of large height diameter ratio cylinder is better than the one of small ratio.
