Preparation of zirconia powder with high surface area by extraction-precipitation method

摘要:Zirconia powder with high surface area was prepared by using extraction-precipitation method. The influences of Zr and ammonia concentration, reaction temperature on properties and structure of zirconia powder were studied through N-2 isothermal adsorption, XRD and TEM. The results show that with decrease of Zr and ammonia concentration, the surface area of zirconia powder decreases; Reaction temperature affects the phase and surface area of zirconia powder. Tetragonal zirconia powder with surface area of 231.4m(2)-g(-1) was obtained by using this method.
