- 摘要:The design and construction of highly-efficient Transition metal phosphides (TMPs) electrode materials are crucial to enhance electro-catalytic performance, but seldom research has been focused on the precipitation on the cathode and chlorine evolution reaction (CLER) on the anode of Ni and Co based catalysts in seawater electrolysis. Herein, Al-CoNiP/NF hierarchical architecture electrode material on nickel foam (NF) was prepared using a simple hydrothermal method and subsequent phosphating step. In situ Raman confirms the change of local environment during HER process and the phase transformation during OER process, revealing the reason of outstanding performance for HER and OER. And the obtained Al-CoNiP/NF catalyst exhibited outstanding bifunctional catalytic activity, which presents a low overpotential of 70 for HER and 210 mV for OER at 10 mA cm- 2 in 1.0 M KOH seawater. In addition, both the assembled standard two-electrode system and the anion exchange membrane water electrolyzers (AEMWE) achieve preeminent performance for overall water splitting. This work supplies a effective strategy to explore non-noble metal catalysts for efficient water and seawater splitting.
