Mathematical model establishment for cable eccentricity online detection system based on X-ray

Abstract:China is the world's largest cable producer and eccentricity is an important indicator to measure the quality of cable. Lack of online detection technology has been the soft underbelly of China's cable industry development. The online detection technology is monopolized by few enterprises, and domestic online detection equipment all rely on imports which seriously affects the China's cable industry. In view of the above situation, the cable eccentricity online detection system was studied in this paper based on X ray. Firstly, the cable eccentricity detection way was established after the analysis of different detection method; secondly, the main performance and the influence factors were analyzed. According to the characteristics of cable online detection, the detection scheme was determined. And then the mathematical model and MATLAB simulation for detection point scanning method were finally accomplished. © 2017 IEEE.
