Studies on gelcasting of alumina matrix ceramic

- 摘要：The gelcasting of a-alumina and binary zirconia-alumina composites ceramic was further studied. Special emphasis was placed on the preparation and gelation of concentrated suspension with low viscosity and high solide volume loading. By using dispersant MN made in our laboratory, basic a-alumina concentrated suspension whose solide loading as high as 65Vol% while viscosity as low as 267 mPa.s was prepared, besides,basic 10Vol% zirconia(3Y)-alumina concentrated suspension with 55Vol% solide loading and low viscosity was prepared. The properties of gelcasting body were also studied.
