Abstract:Using 2-ethyl-1,3,4-trimethylimidazolium as structure-directing agent (SDA), B-substituted STW-type silicate zeolite (B-STW) was synthesized in a concentrated gel at 175 for 2-5 d. The B-STW sample was characterized by the inductively coupled plasma analysis (ICP), X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM), N<inf>2</inf> adsorption-desorption isotherm, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and temperature programmed desorption of ammonia (NH<inf>3</inf>-TPD) analyses. The results show that B-STW has weak acidity after removal of SDA and is thermally stable up to 750 . ©, 2015, Higher Education Press. All right reserved.
