Abstract:The loaded photocatalyst is an ideal material for nitrogen fixation, which does not have the problem of secondary pollution caused by powdered catalysts, and has the advantages of uniform distribution, high efficiency and easy recovery. In this paper, CuO and WO3 were grown on copper mesh (CM) by in-situ etching and solvothermal method. The photogenerated carriers and light absorption properties were synergistically promoted with the help of oxygen vacancies and S-type heterojunctions. Under simulated visible-light conditions, a liquid-membrane type reaction was employed and the nitrogen fixation performance was significantly improved. The optimal ammonia production rate of WO3/CuO/CM was 3.878 x 10_2 mu mol/cm2/h, which was 9.37 and 5.16 times higher than WO3/CM and CuO/CM, respectively. This study provides ideas for the design of recyclable heterojunction catalysts with oxygen vacancies.
