Abstract:Efficient equipment structures are developed to solve the excessive yield and discharge of high-boiling-point waste materials and the low disposal efficiency of particles in the production of dimethyldichlorosilane. Based on the data from experiments, practical processes, and simulations, the effects of the modified structures are analyzed. The modified fluidized-bed reactor realizes efficient heat removal and homogeneous temperature distribution. The reactive selectivity is improved to over 89% and the output of high-boiling-point materials is reduced. The average selectivity is increased by 5.0%. The structures of the circumfluent cyclone separator and the efficient scrubbing–distillation column are explored to separate the particles in the gas flow efficiently. The median diameter of the particles collected from the multistage circumfluent cyclone system is reduced to 4.95 μm. The collected particles are sent back to the reactor immediately to achieve efficient use of particles and maintain the progress of the reaction based on back-to-bed technology. In the efficient scrubbing columns, the block of the column is avoided and small particles are captured efficiently. The waste flows from the bottom is only 240–320 kg/h, whereas that of the original column is 1,200–1,600 kg/h. The amount of waste discharge is decreased by 80%. The modified devices solve the environmental issues in the practical process and realize the cleaner production of dimethyldichlorosilane.
